The unit turns on and measures the velocity of an object tossed towards it, however, I can't guarantee it's accuracy.
Please Note:
The fold out (black) handle has a small broken clip on the part that gets inserted into the side of the unit it stays in and pivots to function as  a stand and also holds in the socket its something small I noticed and I do like to point out any irregularities no matter how small.
