  • Condition: The sword has play (semi-loose) handle & blade. I do not want to attempt to try to remove either to tighten because I am not sure how it is built. However, this is a display novelty item and not a weapon, the blade is dull, and not intended to be used as an actual sword. The sword shows moderate spot-staining / spot-rusting, which can easily be polished or cleaned up with steel wool and chrome polish. Both the sword and wall mount display show minor to moderate aged wear & use.

    New Line Cinema / New Line Productions - NLP, Inc. The Lord of the Rings Glamdring Display Sword 47" w/ Wall Display Plaque Mount - Gandolf
    The name of the sword appears to translate to Glamdring, thought to be used by the wizard of Gandolf, and thought to have been lost to time. Some of the writing on the handles refers to Turgon, who was the king of the lost city of Gondolin...I haven't been able to translate the rest of the text.
    -The sword measures approximately 47" long.
    -The wood & mirrored wall plaque display mount measures approximately 35" long by 9" wide.
    Condition:
