Description
In the mid 1970's, people started to rebel against the phone company and it's boring selection of telephones. Western Electric came out with a series of decorator phones in what they dubbed the "Design Line" series. The Sculptura was one of the designs. It was offered in white, yellow, and brown, a rather boring selection by today's tastes, but if you lived in the 70's, you know everything was all about earth tones. Remember Harvest Gold appliances? This phone is a rare find. I do often find these still in their original box, but even then they discolor at least a little with age. This one looks like day one. I've tested the phone to make sure everything is still in good working order.
Condition:
All of the phones I sell are refurbished to look and work like new. This includes cleaning and lubricating dials, cleaning contacts on TouchTone keypads, updating wiring.
All phones are adapted for modular use, so all you have to do is plug the phone in and use it.
The exterior of plastic and Bakelite phones are polished to a high polish using commercial buffing equipment.
In the case of age discolored plastic phones, I have them repainted at a professional paint shop using the same materials and methods used by the phone company for a very durable, high shine.
Shipping:
I ship within 48 hours of payment.
I combine phones to save on shipping. If you buy them separately, I'll refund back the difference.
The phones are well packed to protect them during shipping.
