Description
Lion Coffee's series "Paper Toys for the Children" was was done in the mid 1890s. The complete set had 30 different toys done on cardstock that required folding to stand them, with the instructions for that on the backs of the cards. The cards and dolls were lithographic printed and for that reason, the colors remain vivid to this day, 125 years later. My photos don't do the colors justice. Some of these have old prices in pencil writing on the backs and a few have other blemishes but only on the backs. A few have missing stands. All of these are in excellent condition for age. This one is "Indians on the War Path" It measures apx. 6.50" x 3.25" and does have an old price on the back.My huge paper doll collection has come from estates, other collectors and eBay. I don't know previous storage history and they could have been in homes where smoking has occurred. I have a poor sense of smell at my age and I don't know if that lingers. My collection is stored in a smoke/pet free area of my home, with a dehumidifier running 24/7. Please see photos for condition and content.
I only ship to the USA.
