The filter is probably not effective- I would think the efficacy would be questionable. Unknown. The age would seem to make it uncertain,. The rubber gasket is not viable, (or pliable, it does not lay flat and is brittle) I wouldn;t recommend using it. Recommended for display only. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT VEHICLES OR ENGINES.     Approx. 4" wide and 6" tall. Old Purolator Oil Refills for Purolator Micronic Oil FilterSeriesP-900. Unknown date, found an ad for them from the early 40s. Unknown what vehicle would have used this series of oil filter. I was told they are for tractors, by the estate sale manager, but I think they aren't. These 3 Oil Filter Refill Cartridges are probably only good for display. Never used, but stored outside in a shed on a farm for decades. The rubber gasket is not flexible anymore, and would not be suitable for use. I don't know anything about oil filters, but I think the filter may not be advisable to use. I'm not sure what vehicles this was intended for, other than what the box says. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE "CONDITION " BELOW BEFORE PURCHASE.
